Lodge News

Hi Annapolis Lodge 622 Elk members. This is my first message to you as your new Exalted Ruler, Mary E. O’Brien. I am very honored and proud. For those of you, who do not know, I am a PER, past House Committee, past State Officer, and very active member in our State Assoc. Your new Treasurer, my husband, Rick Lehnen; new Trustee, Julie Gill. We currently need a Lecturing Knight and an Esquire. If you know of someone who might be interested please contact me.

I would like to thank our new PER, Steve Williams for this past year. He has done a very nice job. He will be continuing on as our Camp Barrett Rep and as our Drug Awareness Chair. Please thank him and our House Committee Chair and House Committee for their wonderful job and all the great events this past year.
Please consider volunteering or Chairing with a committee possibly taking an officer position, or helping with the kitchen, dining room, or the lounge. Give me a call, tell me what your interests are and when you are available. Our volunteers do a great job, and have fun and share good comradery.

Our ELK OF THE MONTH for APRIL is JOHN MCMICKLE. He is and has been head of the Indoctrination Committee, which orients new members to all that the Elks do and offer.

Hope this message finds all our Elk families safe and well at home. With the corona virus we are in unprecedented times. We are deep cleaning and painting our lodge and we will implement any needed safety and health procedures prior to everyone’s return.

My focus this year is our community charities, our membership, and above all Positive Approach and Positive Outlook. Teamwork and having fun while helping our lodge and our communities is what it is all about.
