How to Join the Annapolis Elks
I am Lou Schmeltzer, the Secretary of the Annapolis Elks Lodge and will outline the steps to join Lodge. The first step is to find a sponsor and fill out an application. If you don't know a Member then I'll be glad to meet with you, show you around, answer questions and, if you're still interested, I will sponsor you. The application is then turned over to the Investigation Committee with whom you'll have to meet. If approved by them, you will be voted on by the members and if the election is favorable you will be Initiated into the Order of Elks at the next meeting. There is an application fee of $50.00 that needs to accompany the application. The annual dues are $125.00 and will be pro-rated for the first year according to when you're Initiated.
