Lodge News

We’ve had a successful District Deputy Inspection and Visit, a wonderful Red Ribbon Day and the Charity Event to raise monies for the Hope House and Arundel Lodge to help with drug recovery and mental health issues.

The House and Activities committees have been working hard to bring you wonderful and fun filled events like the Boo Bash, Western Night, Bar Bingo the bands have been outstanding with “3 ‘til Midnight,” Sharon and the Edge” and Mixed emotions in December, so come on out and get involved.

The seasons are changing and nature is slowing down and preparing for the coming of Winter, a time to rest and prepare for new challenges in the Spring. So we too are slowing down, spending less time outdoors and directing our activities to home and hearth. Now is the perfect time to ask yourselves, “What have I done for the Lodge this year?”

Now is the time to step forward, you don’t have to set the world on fire, but would you take a position on the Food Drive or Toys for Tots committees. Would you help with the Children’s Christmas Party or the Egg Nog Party?

It gives me great pleasure to announce the Elk of the Month for December is Roger Marcil. While only being an Elk for one year, Roger stepped up to take on the maintenance and repair of our Cabin at Elks Camp Barrett. He fronted the money necessary to complete the tasks and spent countless hours coordinating the efforts with the other lodges to ensure that the work was completed in a timely and professional manner.
