First let me just say wow! A lot is happening around your Elks lodge. We are in full swing of getting activities and things moving again. We started April off with DJ/Karaoke Jammin' George and Bar Bingo. Both were a success. In May, we opened again on Tuesday nights from 5 to 9pm. John and Joan Wald are back from relaxing in the sunshine and will host the new "Show Me The Money" game on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday's. Also, Bar Bingo twice a month, in addition to DJ/Karaoke once a month. Be sure to keep an eye on the flyers for dates and times. Jammin' George is also instructor or lead for "Hand Dancing" and various dance styles. George and his group will be dancing or instructional sessions at the Annapolis Elks lodge on the 3rd Friday of every month.
What an extremely hard decision for the Elk of the Month, so many people have stepped up to help! But for June its Bob Sabin and for July its Gene Ahalt. Both of these "great" guys worked several days to clean up our beautiful brick Elks 622 sign by the road. It looks simply amazing! Please thank them when you stop in next.
To get Instant Lodge Info give the QR codes a try... simply take any Cellphone or Tablet (must have and be in the camera mode -- but do not take a picture) and place the camera onto the QR Code (as if to take a picture) and instantly the quick response Link will appear for you to tap and Go... It will give you updates on all upcoming Lodge activities, schedule changes, special events, menus, etc.
Also be sure to check out our website (elks622.com) and our social media page (Annapolis BPOE Lodge #622 on Facebook) to stay on top of the latest events and information.
Our lodge is being sanitized by fogger 3 times a week. See flyer regarding latest update from Governor Hogan on Covid regulations. Feel free to wear your mask to your comfort level. The outside patio is now open so come, sit outside and enjoy a meal or drink while watching the deer feed out back.
Please remember that during the months of June and July, we are collecting food donations for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Just bring non-perishable food to the Lodge.
